Kiri, like the mythical phoenix, is birthed from the ashes of past musical endeavours to rise again. Similar in ethos but not in sound to past projects, Kiri attempts to navigate previously unchartered territory, with sharp female screaming and shouted vocals over chaotic guitar, bass and drums. At times Kiri find themselves slowing down to allow the subtle twinkle of the guitar or synthesiser to dominate the foreground, Kiri's recorded works attempt to capture the energy of their live performances. Incorporating influences from Jerome's Dream, The Mars Volta and Daughters, there is something mixed in for everyone.

This is the twenty first release through Lacklustre Records (LCK021), made possible with assistance from the Eunoia Collective and reissued through Utarid Tapes on cassette in Malaysia. This was originally available on 7" with handmade covers, but has since sold out. Thank you for your support!
