It's been a while since we've uploaded any new music, so forgive us the dust that we're shaking off...

Thantu Thikha is a group of absolutely erratic but entirely hardcore-devoted youngsters trying (and succeeding) to whip the Canberra hardcore scene out of a state of inertia. Driven by an incredible sense of justice and compassion, but also a love for all things heavy and spin-kickable, this two-piece turned three-piece have recorded their first four tracks for us here at Lacklustre.

I'm thrilled to have worked with these youths since they were in classes -- and am super excited to have the capacity to help put this out into the wilderness that is "hardcore music". Mrat (vocals, guitar) and with Caleb (bass) as a recent addition, has also spent an incredibly large amount of time recently organising live music here in Canberra and promoting other local bands too -- embodying the DIY and community ethic of hardcore music.
